All About Whitesell Wellness

Whitesell Wellness is here. After receiving my Level 1 Certification from Precision Nutrition in June I decided to take it one step further and coach someone other than myself.

Whitesell Wellness has been born out of my love for food and nutrition combined with a lifestyle that is full of movement, rest, career, travel, fashion, and athleticism. You may have a few questions about Whitesell Wellness, check them out below! As always, if you have any additional questions, please send me a note whitesellwellness@gmail.com.

Q: Why wellness and not personal training – we know you love the gym!

A: Yes, I do, but wellness and nutrition has always been at the forefront of my life. Perhaps it’s because I have loved to cook, eat, and entertain for my whole life. Or perhaps it’s because I’ve seen how small nutritional changes can add up to long lasting habits. For some, movement AND nutrition might come easy – that’s great! For others, nutrition is a huge hurdle that I can help coachees to tackle on a smaller scale that will make a big impact.

Q: Why choose me?

A: Because I get it – I appreciate the everyday struggles society is faced with: busyness, lack of time, work stress, and home stress. As a professional myself, I understand what a packed calendar and schedule looks like. I get that eating well while traveling is difficult (but attainable!). I know what a Friday feels like after you worked past or through dinner the days prior. In these modern times, we will strengthen your tool box to overcome some of the day to day challenges that you may face.

Q: What about your day job?

A: I love my day job! As a marketing professional for a major cruise line, I enjoy spending my daytime hours strategizing, planning, and working on a team. These skills are transferrable to Whitesell Wellness – as we work through our plan, it will require strategizing, planning, and working through it together, as a team.

Q: How many coachees will you take on per month?

A: Spending quality time with each of my coachees is of the utmost importance. I want ample time to listen and engage when we meet. With this in mind, coaching spaces are always limited.

Q: Do I have to live in Charlotte?

A: No! Not at all – web conferencing is a great way to meet face to face without meeting in person. I use GoogleMeet for virtual appointments. If you prefer phone, text, or email, that is great, too! Whatever works best for you.

Q: Do you provide a meal plan?

A: As much as I love to cook – this isn’t a meal plan! Instead, we will come up with various ideas that may involve “meal planning,” but in the traditional sense, I will not dictate “On Mondays you eat kale and beans,” “Tuesdays is deconstructed tacos,” etc… but don’t those tacos sound great?

Q: Can you help me with personal training?

A: One day, I hope to be your all-in-one stop. Continuous education, and improvement is something that I strive for, so adding in a personal training certification is something that is on my radar. I can arm you with some fantastic resources both in-person and virtual to try out. We will work through together what exercise looks like for you currently and evaluate any goals that you may have.

Q: What if I am under medical care?

A: I cannot provide medical advice. But think of me as an extension to your M.D. if you have a specific regimen or routine that is required by your doctor, I am your best resource to ensure that it is followed and fulfilled.

Q: Why is programming 6 or 12 weeks and not 4 or 8 weeks?

A: This is something else I weighed heavily. In a 6-week scenario, we will work through your food goals and add on challenges throughout as your practice becomes routine. The goal is that by the end of 6 weeks, you have mastered at least one, perhaps two, new routines that align with your food goals. As you continue on each 6-week journey, those skills will be a stepping stone as you improve and gain confidence in your day to day. And if you choose a 12-week package, you can double, or even triple those mastered skills for good to two to four new routines.

Q: Have you coached anyone before?

A: Prior to launching, I coached clients that have provided me with important feedback pertaining to the program, this includes but is not limited to: cadence of check-in, type of check-in, food lists, and more. It was imperative to me to have this experience.

Q: What if I have dietary limitations?

A: We will work through any allergies or intolerances together. I am familiar with all types of lifestyle requirements and/or choices including but not limited to: paleo, keto, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and FODMAP.

Q: This all sounds great! How do I sign up?

A: Please send me an email at whitesellwellness@gmail.com or check out the Pricing Page to schedule a complimentary 15-minute meet & greet!
